Murter as the closest point ( only 9 Nm from the Kornati National Park ) provides an ideal destination to go to the Kornati islands. Experience the Kornati islands sailing on our boat M/B Barbarinac, classic wooden sailing boat, ideal for individuals and groups up to 80 people. Due to its outstanding natural beauty, diversity of the coast, preserved nature and rich marine flora and fauna, the Kornati archipelago was declared a national park in 1980. The total area of the park is around 220 square kilometers and consists of 89 islands, islets and rocks. Kornati National Park abounds in unique beauties of both natural and its cultural heritage.

The excursion starts every day at 9 am from Murter port which is located in the center. During the one-hour ride to the entrance of the national park ( through the entrance Opat ) boat is sailing through island Murter archipelago. After the entrance to the national park boat is sailing in the open sea, where you can see the cliffs or crowns, according to many, the most attractive part of the Kornati archipelago.
The ship then sails to Vrulje, the largest fishing village on the island of Kornat, which has about 50 houses. Stop in Vruje is reserved for lunch in a small family owned restaurant. In Vrulje there is also an educational trail of Kornati National Park. After lunch boat sails in the direction of a smaller island Levrnaka, with only sandy beach in the national park.
After a break for swimming and climbing on the lookout, boat moving towards Proversa channel which is an exit from the national park. Then it is time for another short stop for swimming and jumping off the boat. On the way back the boat is passing by the island Žut back to Murter. Return to murter is at 6 pm.
