What time of year should you visit Murter?

Murter is a perfect place for a summer vacation during June, July or August. Plenty of sun, clean sea, great food and local festivities.

If you long for peace and quiet, consider arriving in May or September. You can have a whole beach for yourself if you are lucky! Swimming season is still on, and you will have a pleasure to experience relaxed atmosphere and joys of island life and local habits. Warm spring or autumn sun is ideal foe walks and exploring the island, as well as biking on new bicycle paths that connect the entire island.

At the end of September Latinsko Idro takes place. It is a regatta of traditional sailing ships. The scene of old fashioned white sails is breathtaking.

Murter is also known for its top quality olive oil. In October you can watch how the oil is made in the old fashioned way in the local oil refinery.
